The lineup at the time was:
John Palumbo: lead vocals, piano and acoustic guitar
Rick Witkowski: electric guitar and backing vocals
Jim Griffiths: electric guitar and backing vocals
Joe Macre: bass and backing vocals
Joey D'Amico: drums and backing vocals
John Palumbo is the main songwriter and he's one of my personal favorites. Over the years John has consistently crafted beautiful songs of great depth, awareness and compassion. At a time when rock music was beginning to get seriously stupid, and an evil little band whose name I shall not mention had a big hit with a song blatantly advocating suicide, this fresh new group was badly needed, and greatly appreciated.
They never got the acclaim they deserved but of course that's because they deserved it. And I am proud and humble to feature them here.
Well I was talking to a mirror image of what supposedly was to be me+
And the eyes and the nose and the insignificant clothes supported the testimony
He said you're doing fine you know
You've got an okay mind you know
And I would hate to see you throw it away
You'd better hold on!
Hold on!
Hold on!
I was telling him I was a bit fatigued about my life both present and past
And when I recalled my thoughts of ending it all with an overdose of gas
He said you're doing fine you know
You've got an okay mind you know
And I would hate to see you throw it away
You'd better hold on!
Hold on!
Hold on!
Hold on!
Hold on!
Hold on!
